According to the CDC, it is estimated that 6 million children between the ages of 3-17 years old were diagnosed with ADHD using data from 2016-2019. Of the 6 million children, 63% received prescription medication, primarily stimulants or amphetamine-derived substances such as Adderall, Ritalin, or Vyvanse.
