According to the NIH and the National Cancer Institute, the rate of new cases of colorectal cancer was 37.7 per 100,000, and the death rate was 13.1 per 100,000 men and women per year. Approximately 4.1% of men and women will be diagnosed with colorectal cancer at some point during their lifetime, based on 2017-2019 data.
