Meet Gail Macrae
Gail McCrae is a former nurse who gained prominence for her role as a whistleblower during the COVID-19 pandemic. Born and trained as a Bachelor's degree RN in California, she began her nursing career in the acute care setting, working in various roles such as ICU, telemetry, and MedSurg. Her journey took her to rural Africa, where she spent a year working in a district hospital in Tanzania.
Returning to the United States with the intention of specializing in labor and delivery and becoming a certified nurse midwife, Gail faced challenges during her pregnancy, leading her to work in telemetry until she started her master's program. In 2015, she joined Kaiser Permanente, a prominent healthcare provider, and worked there until her controversial departure in 2021.
Gail became a vocal critic of the COVID-19 response, alleging deception by the media and raising concerns about the safety and efficacy of COVID-19 vaccines. She claimed to have been fired by Kaiser Permanente for refusing to take the COVID-19 shot and was also dropped from her master's program.
Throughout the pandemic, Gail worked on the COVID floors at Kaiser, where she became disillusioned with the protocols and treatments administered to patients. She expressed skepticism about the justification for lockdowns, the accuracy of media reports, and the medical decisions made during the crisis.
Gail highlighted several issues, including the isolation of patients, withholding respiratory treatments and steroids, and the administration of remdesivir, which she deemed harmful. She criticized the vaccine rollout, citing her robust natural immunity as a reason for declining the experimental shot.
Her experiences led her to question the ethics of medical practices, challenge established protocols, and ultimately become a whistleblower, sharing her perspective on various platforms, including the Medical Truth Podcast hosted by James Egidio. Gail McCrae's story reflects her commitment to truth and transparency in healthcare, even in the face of professional and personal challenges.
